Stupid Obama Advisor of the Day

President Barack Obama’s adviser on Muslim affairs [excuse me, why do we have one of these?], Dalia Mogahed said on the Islam Channel [the what?!?] program Muslimah Dilemma earlier this week:

even many Muslims associated Sharia with “maximum criminal punishments” and “laws that… to many people seem unequal to women,” but added: “Part of the reason that there is this perception of Sharia is because Sharia is not well understood and Islam as a faith is not well understood.”

Let me boil that down.  Many Muslims have a negative opinion of Sharia because they don’t understand Sharia and Islam.  Got that?  Many Muslims don’t understand Islam.

That’s fantastic advice for her to pass on to Mr. Obama.  I hope he includes that tidbit in his next pandering speech to “the Muslim world”.
