Obama is full of himself

Posted by Godefroi on July 18, 2008

H/T Rick Moran at AT.

Obama is a three-year senator without a single important legislative achievement to his name, a former Illinois state senator who voted “present” nearly 130 times. As president of the Harvard Law Review, as law professor and as legislator, has he ever produced a single notable piece of scholarship? Written a single memorable article? His most memorable work is a biography of his favorite subject: himself.
When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. (Proverbs 8:2)

And what is McCain’s achievements? What has McCain done to deserve the presidency. He has no record.

Senator McCain has been serving American since before Obama was born. He’s been in Congress (House and/or Senate) for more than 25 years. Those two things ALONE make him more deserving of the Presidency than is Obama.

Stating that he has “no record” is completely false…it’s either disingenuousness or willful blindness on your part – or both – that would lead to such a claim.

As far as Obama’s record, here’s part of it: “I can unequivocally say I will not be running for national office in four years, and my entire focus is making sure that I’m the best possible senator on behalf of the people of Illinois.” and “I will serve out my full six-year term…I will not [run for President].”

Lying, back-stabbing, self-serving, untrustworthy – these are qualities that YOU think would make a good President?

  3. I’m not exactly thrilled about McCain, and in fact I had him near the bottom of the original Republican field.

But compared to Obama, he’s Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan rolled into one. For one thing, he doesn’t have a half-brother who’s a full-fledged Islamist and he doesn’t have a wife who’s a Marxist racist.

Obama has flip-flopped so much on the few substantive issues he’s discussed, he makes John Kerry seem steadfast and unwavering.

About all we can say for sure is he’s a Utopian socialist through and through–and not much of a candidate to lead a democratic republic.

McCain was pretty close to the bottom of my list as well, but as you mention…in comparison to the obamessiah, he’s stellar.

    Thanks for stopping by.

    Cheers!

The exact number of days “Senator” Obama has actually spent time…senatoring.
