Quote of the Day
Posted by Godefroi on October 14, 2008
Hot Air has a video of an exchange between Obama and a plumber (hey, amigos, would he be one of the “little guys” that you expect Obama to protect?)
Here’s the important part:
Plumber to Obama: “Your new tax plan is going to tax me more. Isn’t it?”
Obama: “It’s not that I want to punish your success, I just want to make sure that everybody that is behind you, that they have a chance for success too. I think that when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”
He doesn’t WANT to punish success, but he will, in order to take your money and give to someone else who doesn’t work as hard as you do.
There it is, straight from the horse’s mouth ass.
“The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”
“…a wise and frugal Government…shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned.
– Thomas Jefferson

Jefferson’s quote is so very appropriate. The plumber just appeared on Neil Cavuto’s show; he says that he is not at all happy with Obama’s plan to take away money earned through hard work, and give it to people who aren’t willing to work as hard, or be as resourceful. Spot on and kudo’s to the plumber.
Obama represents a Marxist ideology that simply does not fit in our America; but I have to admit that it is worrisome so many dismally educated people are clamoring for an Obama presidency. I can only assume that these are the same people who want something for nothing, or worse … want a portion of what I earn.
