Do they really believe that he would be silent when facing the biggest affront to His name and THE NAME on Earth? That's why we have to keep speaking, writing, etc. Some will listen and be saved. It isn't simply about Islamic symbolism in this memorial. It's about the accommodation and "embrace" of Islam, and the turning away from the true God. Jesus said "... <em>an hour is coming when whoever kills you will think and claim that he has offered service to God</em>", and "<em>Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.</em>" This is the hour we live in. I'm convinced Islam is THE "religion" of the one who can destroy both. Keep the faith, and keep fighting the good fight. You see, these folks you've encountered, like the New Age memorial project supporters, are all for peace and understanding--until we don't toe the line, and then they attack us with no less ferocity than the Islamists. We're all brothers, so long as we tolerate everyone and everything, including the intolerant. So we are bigots and racists because we decry bigotry and racism. We are accused of hatred because we condemn those who hate. As the bloody scimitar is poised above our necks, we are admonished that we must stop fighting with each other. I'd say yes, we're screwed. I posted this at a Christian message board that I'm an active member of. A handful of other members are all over me about how "people will see what they want to see" and "we are never going to have peace and unity in the world if we don't stop this fighting with each other" and "this crap never ends". And the best one, "Who cares? If this is what the families want, then so what?" I have also been accused of "hate speech" by some of these same people when I simply post articles about Islamic persecution against Christians. These are CHRISTIANS, accusing another Christian of "hate speech" for posting articles about Muslims persecuting CHRISTIANS. If Christians can't come together against the onslaught of Islam and Sharia, then we are screwed. Oh man. I posted this at a Christian message board that I’m an active member of.
