It’s on the rise, you know. Rampant, some might say. Thousands of incidents every year and increasing since 9/11.

There you have it…191 Islamophobic offenses in 2006, with 208 victims.

I have no compunction in condemning the behavior of those who perpetrated these actions. I do have an addendum, however.

There are about 6 million Jews in the U.S, and between 5 and 7 million Muslims (so, roughly the same). Looks like Judeophobia is more prevalent. Jews have been the victim of 5.5 times more often than Muslims. From another angle, a Jew is more than 5 times more likely to be a victim of a hate crime than a Muslim…and ⅔ (66%) of ALL religion-inspired hate crimes are directed at Jews, even though they are ¹/₅₀ (2%) of the population.

What about the racism charges spewed by CAIR? (Note: Asian here would include the Middle East…it also includes Pacific Islanders, a correlation dreamed up by the Educational system to hide the preponderance of success in American schools by Japanese and Korean children. Islam is not a race.)
